Autumn poems
He winsomely took her
whispering
untiring
She wistfully left him
wheezing
unflagging
Wakeful night
Tenderly touching
tantalizing her
tiny trembling grasshopper
an easy-won trophy?
ccc
A necklace
of ultimate pearls
he gave her
a birthmark
engraved in a mirror
parky weather
the tangy Atlantic Ocean air
The sailor
animated
by such a wild zeal
threw her in a pauper’s grave
after he looked at
a funeral cortege
ccc
Eternal love
gone
replaced
with a snap of the fingers
with a smile
just a smile
from the inside edge
of the track of perdition
indecent
sensitive
a decaying star
lead astray by a rainbow
